What is FlowNer?

FlowNer - Enroll & Automate is built for teams that need to automatically enroll contacts in HubSpot sequences using workflows. Instead of manually adding contacts to sequences, you can trigger enrollment and unenrollment directly from HubSpot automation.

The app allows you to automate sequence enrollment by adding a custom action to your workflows, without the need for an Enterprise package. Sales and Service reps will no longer need to manually enroll contacts into a sequence.

With FlowNer App, you can:

  • Automatically enroll contacts in HubSpot sequences using workflows

  • Automatically enroll HubSpot contacts in sequences and unenroll when the criteria are met

  • Assign the sender dynamically using the contact owner or specific users
  • Save time with structured workflow automation instead of manual enrollment
This setup is especially relevant for teams using HubSpot Professional, where sequence seats and connected inboxes are required.

Installation process

To start automatically enrolling contacts in HubSpot sequences:

  1. Log in to your HubSpot account.
  2. Navigate to the HubSpot Marketplace and locate the FlowNer listing.
  3. Click Install app (Direct Install URL)
  4. Select the HubSpot account where you want to install FlowNer.

  5. Review the requested scopes. FlowNer requires permissions to read and write contacts, sequences, and workflow actions.

  6. Click the Connect app.

FlowNer will now appear as a custom action inside HubSpot Workflows, ready to automatically enroll contacts in HubSpot sequences based on your workflow logic.


Configure FlowNer

Automatically enroll contacts in HubSpot sequences using workflows 

  1. Go to Automation → Workflows in HubSpot.

  2. Open an existing workflow or create a new one.
  3. Click the + icon to add an action.
  4. Select FlowNer.

Available actions:

  • Enroll contact in sequence - automatically enroll a single contact

  • Enroll associated contact - automatically enroll contacts from deals or companies


  • Unenroll contact from sequence - automatically unenroll when criteria are met


This enables full lifecycle automation - enroll + unenroll based on workflow logic.

5. Select the sequence you want to use.

6. Choose the sender type:

Specific user – a fixed HubSpot user with a Professional seat and connected inbox.

Contact owner– contact owner or other user property. 

7. Save your actions.

How to Use FlowNer

Once configured, FlowNer will automatically handle enrollment and unenrollment according to your workflow logic.

Examples:

  • Auto-enroll new leads into nurture sequences.
  • Enroll contacts when a deal moves to a specific stage.
  • Unenroll contacts if a deal closes or a contact replies.
  • Assign the sender dynamically based on the contact owner.

How to Uninstall FlowNer

Note: Disconnecting FlowNer stops all automated sequence enrollment and unenrollment. Existing sequence enrollments remain active in HubSpot.

  1. Log in to HubSpot.
  2. Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Connected Apps.
  3. Locate FlowNer and click Delete.
  4. Confirm by typing delete.
